Ephrata National Bank announces the promotion of Rachel G. Bitner to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, she has been nominated and unanimously elected as Principal Financial Officer and Treasurer of ENB Financial Corp.
In her role as Chief Financial Officer, Bitner is responsible for directing the development and maintenance of the Bank’s strategic financial plans and policies; monitoring the Bank’s performance against established financial goals and objectives; directing the preparation of various financial reports for review by Senior Management and the Board of Directors as well as SEC reports; helping to implement and coordinate accounting systems; ensuring adherence to operating procedures for accounting-related activities; and coordinating the compliance with regulatory policy relating to accounting systems and practices. Within this role, she will hold a seat on the Executive Committee, serve as Chair of the Bank’s Asset Liability Committee and join the Executive team in overseeing the Bank’s strategic direction. Bitner has over 22 years of progressive experience in the banking industry.
Bitner is a graduate of Messiah College, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Sciences. Additionally she has supported the community through the years in her role as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Long’s Park Amphitheater Foundation. She also recently served on the Women in Banking Advisory Committee for the PA Bankers Association. Bitner currently resides in Lancaster, PA.
