Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer
Ephrata National Bank announces the promotion of Nick Klein to Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer.
In this role, Klein provides leadership in planning, development, and administration of all risk and compliance programs – policies, practices, and systems – that are necessary to perform the banking activities. The CRO is considered the leader of the bank’s Second Line of Defense. Klein has over 13 years of progressive banking and risk management experience. He held the position of Associate National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency based out of Philadelphia prior to joining Ephrata National Bank as Assistant Vice President, Senior Credit Risk Review Officer.
Klein is a graduate of Penn State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in French. Additionally he supports the community through his role of Vice President of the South Central Pennsylvania RMA Chapter as well as through being an active Board Director for the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Public Affairs Committee (PaBPAC). Passionate about working with youth in the community, he is the Camp Director and Hero Dash Director at Pocono Plateau Camp in Cresco, PA., and Director of Youth Ministry at the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Ephrata, PA. Klein currently resides in Manheim Township, PA.
