Ephrata National Bank announces the promotion of Matthew Long as Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer.

In this role, Long will be responsible for the directing, administering and coordination of the internal operational activities of the bank. Long has over 23 years of experience in banking, most recently as Vice President, Director of Cash Management.

Long is a graduate of Grove City College where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Management. Additionally, he is a 2014 graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Advanced School of Banking where he graduated with High Honors and was awarded the Dr. Philip O. Brenham, Jr. Leadership Award.

As an active volunteer in the community, Long currently serves as the President of the S June Smith Foundation. In addition to this role, Long is a volunteer and mentor to the youth of Lancaster County through multiple sports programs and Junior Achievement.

He currently resides in the Lampeter-Strasburg School District with his wife, Paula, and their children, Alyssa and Jason.
