Ephrata National Bank announces the promotion of Jennifer Halligan to Vice President, Controller.
In this role, Halligan is responsible for the day-to-day operational functions of the Finance & Control Department with primary oversight activities including: monthly financial closing, funds transfer, accounts payable/purchasing, management of the Bank’s ALCO model, and FFIEC Call Report preparation. She will also assist the CFO in directing the development and maintenance of the Bank’s financial plans and policies; help to monitor the Bank’s performance against established financial goals and objectives; aid in directing the preparation of various financial reports for review by Senior Management and the Board of Directors; help to implement and coordinate accounting systems; assist in assuring the existence of, and adherence to, operating procedures for accounting-related activities; help to coordinate the compliance with regulatory policy relating to accounting systems and practices; and drive the budget process under the direction of the CFO, helps to prepare the required SEC reports, and prepares other financial reports and analysis as necessary. She has over 20 years of progressive experience in the banking industry.
Halligan is a graduate of Bloomsburg University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Additionally she has completed the Uniform CPA Exam. She currently resides in Mohnton, PA.
