Brossman Family Charitable Foundation
The Brossman Foundation was born from a remarkable life. Bertha Brossman Blair spent 72 years with D&E Communications and rose to serve as President and Chair of the Board. Passionate about education, the arts, and social services, she established the Foundation to honor her parents, William and Jemima, and continue giving back to Northern Lancaster County.
Application deadlines are July 31 and December 31. Decisions will be communicated in the weeks following each of these deadlines.
Irene R. Weidman Charitable Trust
Irene R. Weidman made history as the first woman elected to Ephrata National Bank’s Board of Directors, serving for 26 years. A devoted community builder, she established the Irene R. Weidman Charitable Trust to carry on her legacy — supporting local organizations within 15 miles of downtown Ephrata.
Applications are accepted between January 1 and October 1, annually. Decisions will be communicated in December.

Grant FAQs

- Grant application cover letter, including a description of the program/project you anticipate undertaking.
- A copy of your most recent financial statement (preferably audited), along with a copy of your current budget.
- A copy of your 501 (c) (3) letter from the Internal Revenue Service.
