Ephrata National Bank Encourages Young Savers with “Pigs in the Park” Event

June 13, 2025

Ephrata National Bank (ENB) is proud to continue its commitment to financial literacy with the return of its popular “Pigs in the Park” event during the months of May and June.

“Pigs in the Park” is a fun, family-friendly event designed to introduce children to the value of saving money in a hands-on and engaging way. Kids ages 2–12 are invited to search the park for hidden piggy banks, which can be redeemed for a $25 deposit into a new or existing ENB Super Saver account.

The event is growing in popularity—ENB’s most recent “Pigs in the Park” in Denver, PA welcomed more than 400 attendees. Now, the excitement is coming to Lititz on Saturday, June 21 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., and families are invited to join in the fun.

A shotgun start will kick off the piggy bank hunt promptly at 10 a.m., making for a high-energy, can’t-miss moment ideal for photo and video coverage. In addition to the piggy bank search, the Lititz event will feature balloon twisting, face painting, and sweet treats, offering a festive experience for the whole family.

“At ENB, we believe it’s never too early to start building smart financial habits,” said Jeffrey Stauffer, President, CEO, and Chairman. “This event is a fun way to help kids get excited about saving—and we’re thrilled to bring it to the community once again.”

The “Pigs in the Park” campaign reflects ENB’s broader mission to build strong financial foundations for the next generation while creating

meaningful experiences that connect families to their community bank.

To claim the $25 prize, participating children must bring their found piggy bank to any ENB Community Banking Office. Piggy banks must be redeemed by July 31, 2025. For those unable to attend the event, stop by any of ENB’s Community Banking Offices to claim the promotion and piggy bank.
