ENB has become aware of an increase in customers receiving fraudulent text messages from fraudsters purporting to be from Ephrata National Bank. The messages appears to come from a legitimate number the bank uses and indicates that a preauthorization for a purchase has been declined. If you receive this message, please do not respond or answer any questions over the phone or via text message asking for personally identifiable information or online banking credentials. As a reminder, ENB will never contact you to ask for online credentials or access to your online banking accounts.
