Irene Weidman died in 1964 and upon her passing a charitable trust was established to benefit local charities. The Trust benefits Local Fire and Rescue Companies, Educational, Literary, Religious and Charitable (Social Services) Organizations. These charities must reside within a 15 mile radius of the intersection of Main and State Streets, Ephrata PA.

If you wish to be considered for a grant this year, please submit the following information:

  • A request for consideration for a grant from the Irene R. Weidman Charitable Trust including a description of the program/project you anticipate undertaking, as well as an amount.
  • A copy of your most recent financial statement (preferably audited), along with a copy of your current budget.
  • A copy of your 501 (c) (3) letter from the Internal Revenue Service.
